Hey Everyone, its July 3rd and I spent the day on the Stuart sandbar with some of my "friends". If you're going out tomorrow, remember to pick up your trash, my friends choke on plastic and can die.
I saw something today that made me sick. The C23 and C24 canals are full of thousands of dead fish. Of course, they were trying to clean it up before too many people saw it. Please share because EVERYONE needs to see this!
June 17, 2018. If you wanted to see a lot of algae today, you had to travel to Canal Point. The Port Mayaca and St Lucie locks had no visible algae around. The only algae I saw in the C44 was right where you would expect to see it, in the agriculture drainage ditches and the Indiantown Marina.
I spent the day in Bartow, Florida. Just thought you would like to see what happens when your house is next to a phosphate mine. Their groundwater is so toxic, they get to look at algae all the time. Stay tuned for my phosphate video, it is sure to make you sick. Tomorrow, I'll be back in the St. Lucie to show you what is coming our way! Blair Wickstrom, Kimberly Mitchell, Ed Killer,
C44 is FULL of blue/green algae. As promised, they opened the St. Lucie locks today so this algae is headed our way! What a sad day... We will remember this in November! Ed Killer, Kimberly Mitchell, Blair Wickstrom,
This one is for you Debbie Culp. I spent the day on the West Coast videoing the Caloosahatchee and met the "mother of the year". She'll be the one standing on the beach while her kids swim in the river!
Phosphate Mining is Florida's dirty little secret. Not many people even know of the environmental devastation that is going on in our state involving this mining. Our leaders are looking the other way while these companies destroy our natural wonders. Please share this video because all Floridians need to know the facts so we can demand that our leaders stop them from poisoning our environment and our water supply!

Thanks to Captains for Clean Water for organizing this amazing eye opener at Clewiston on Saturday. Two speeches you really need to hear from two fishermen who care a lot about our waters!
The Southfork of the St. Lucie is being overrun with blue/green algae. All this footage was shot today, July 19, 2018. I don't know about you, but I'm getting real tired of filming algae. I use to go fishing on my day off!
I was going to take a break from my ugly algae videos but then I saw what was coming through the St Lucie Locks today, everyone needs to see this so be prepared to vomit! July 27, 2018
Almost all of our food is sprayed with toxic chemicals. The companies which produce these poisons have become very powerful and filthy rich so they make millions while we die from cancer and other fatal diseases. If that's NOT OK with you, please share this video!!
I shot two videos today, Aug. 21, 2018. The first video is what we're fighting against and the second video is who we're fighting it for, enjoy!
The St Lucie Locks were covered in algae today. I didn't put the bird up because their was already one in the air. Instead, you get 1 minute of the "Gates of Hell".
The algae is really building up in the St Lucie and spilling out into the ocean. They closed the Bathtub Beach so now we can't even use the beach we just spent 4 million dollars to renourish.
We've all heard how bad excess nitrogen is for all the creatures that live in our lakes and rivers. The fact is, nitrogen depletes the oxygen levels and causes fish to suffocate.
Vero Beach, Florida is experiencing some of the worse red tide levels we've seen this year. The beaches are covered with dead fish and the air is full of toxins. I spoke with a tourist and he said he was going home early and he wasn't ever coming back. Florida better start choosing its environment over big corporate greed!!
The Indian River suffered a major fish kill today. I spent the day walking a mile long stretch of shoreline around Midway Road. It is getting real sad to have to document the death of our beautiful estuary. If this video makes you as sick as it did me making it, I'm begging you to share it and start doing anything to get the word out.
Recently, I showed you a lot of dead moray eels in Vero Beach from the Red Tide. I thought maybe some of you have never had the pleasure of seeing these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat. They are one of my favorite critters on the reef. They are incredibly curious and love to come out and play!
People always ask me why I spend all my spare time making environmental videos. This video should clear that up for everyone. Please visit my brand new Youtube Channel I made just for all my environment related videos and subscribe because I have plenty more coming! I was at the SFWMD's meeting today and they were trying to explain why they extended the leases on the land dedicated for the A2 reservoir. The whole thing stinks worse than our beaches do after a red tide event. We will continue to keep an eye on what they are doing down there and let you know.
I just wanted to share with you the comments from two of our local heroes, Jo Neeson and Mark Perry, Thank you both!
The EAA Reservoir is critical to restoring the Everglades and stopping the discharges to our estuary. Unfortunately, the SFWMD has done everything in their power to derail this reservoir. I used my Christmas wish and asked Santa to fire all 9 of them. It is not to late for you to ask him too. His email is [email protected]
Until our river gets cleaned up, let's be a huge pus filled pimple on the ass of these idiots!!! Please check out all my other videos at my new youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1CEpyh59KEmYRonq1q4J7A
Since most of the aquatic vegetation on Lake Okeechobee is now dead, the only thing left to spray their cancer causing glyphosate on is dock pilings and seawalls.
The FWC just announced a temporary pause to this spraying but we got to make it permanent. The poisoning of our waterways HAS TO STOP!!! Stay tuned for my video on Lake Okeechobee.
Lake Okeechobee has suffered through years of mismanagement from our leaders and right now, it is on the verge of collapse. High water, runoff from farmers and cancer causing herbicides are causing dead zones everywhere. We got to do something fast, because we can't afford for the "Heart of the Everglades" to stop beating!!

The FWC meeting last night was standing room only. It turns out that alot of the Okeechobee residents are pretty angry at this organization for destroying their beautiful lake. These people are the real experts, they are on the lake everyday while most scientist are sitting in their office.
I taped all three hours but I'm going to spare you all the crap that they said and show you just the highlights from the comments! There are a couple more meetings coming up and everyone who cares about our water, should make it to at least one of them. I realize the lake has a lot of problems, but this is the only one that can be fixed immediately!!! Feb. 13, Sebring: 4509 George Blvd 5:30 PM Feb. 21, Gainesville, 4200 NW 97th Blvd- This is the commission meeting, I will see you at this one! 8:30 AM Feb 26, Eustis; 601 Northshore Drive 5:30 PM
Sorry it took so long for me to upload this video from the FWC meeting last Thursday in Gainesville. I left the meeting and headed on a 4 day, 3 state pollution marathon that ended up in Louisiana at Mosaic's collapsing gyp stack.
Anyway, the meeting was productive despite the fact that Applied Aquatics, the company doing most of the spraying, bused in a hundred people who took most of the seats and speaking time. We did manage to get some great speakers with some shocking facts about what all this poison is doing to our lakes, wildlife and humans. When they were done, despite the fact that 70 percent of ALL the vegetation on our lakes are GONE, some of the board members want to get back to spraying!.......People, you can't make this stuff up!!!
On January 10, 2019, Mosaic announced their gypsum stack in Louisiana was moving 1/2" per day and had already moved a few feet. They had to pump all the toxic water off the stack to prevent it from collapsing. This is just one of many disasters this company is responsible for. It is time to say enough is enough and let's stop this greedy polluter from poisoning our environment and our drinking water!!
By now, it should be clear to everyone how dangerous it is to breathe in cyanobacteria, especially, if you are doing it everyday. You won't believe what our neighbors to the North have to endure everyday! All these houses are within a mile of one of Mosaic's many gypstacks.
I have spent the last few months on many of the lakes here in Florida and I also got to talk to a lot of folks and they all told me our lakes and rivers are in real trouble. The number one problem is the chemical spraying of aquatic plants by our very own FWC. But they are not smart enough to know the damage that they are causing so I need your help, please call Governor DeSantis and tell him we need a new board at the FWC, just like he did with the SFWMD.

Lake Kissimmee has been sprayed to death. The aquatic vegetation is just a fraction of what it use to be and yet the FWC continues to spray. The Kissimmee Chain of Lakes are very important because they have to filter the water coming from Orlando before it gets to Lake Okeechobee. This video is just part 1 on Lake Kissimmee. Stay tuned for part 2.
I am going to ask you again to call Governor DeSantis and tell him to replace the FWC Board. 850 488-7146 https://www.flgov.com/contact-governor/
In May of this year, the FWC contracted 4 boats to spray Lake Rosalie and Tiger Lake. This was right in the middle of Shell Cracker spawning season. These fish spawn in very shallow water usually 18" or less. The FWC sprayed the entire perimeter of this lake right against the shoreline where these fish spawn. A week later, algae appeared in the canals and out in the middle of the lake. There is only one person that can stop this, give him a call!

I stopped by Port Mayaca on Saturday on my way over to Oceans Day in Fort Myers. The algae is getting thick on Okeechobee. We had very little rain this winter and the lake is very low. We should not have this much algae by now. Our lake is getting sicker every year.
June 11, 2019, I went looking for algae today and found it in the strangest place, Canal Point. It was thick in the canal but not in the lake, go figure. This canal eventually leads to the Lake Worth Lagoon which never gets any attention. This lagoon gets destroyed right along with the St. Lucie and the Caloosahatchee rivers when we get discharges from Lake Okeechobee. We have to clean up this entire system from Orlando to the Everglades!
This is the second part to the spray Lake Kissimmee video. You won't believe what they sprayed on Bird Island. We need to continue the pressure with phone calls and emails, we have to get this spraying stopped to save what's left of Florida's wildlife!
